As we near the beginning of our 2015 season, we’re excited to introduce you to the guides who are ready to serve your family or your group this summer!
Ryan Schoephoerster grew up in Colorado Springs. He currently lives in Grand Junction where he works at a climbing shop there in town. Being outdoors is his life; when he is not working, you will find him climbing some awesome rocks, whether it is a long route or just a boulder; hiking a fourteener, or skiing with his friends.
Ultimately though, Ryan has a big heart to introduce young people to Jesus Christ. “I love to kick it with kids of all ages,” Ryan says. “Acting like a kid is the best thing to do!” You can see that he will work well with your kids, and will do it in such a way that Christ is shown through. His desire for his 3rd summer is for the staff and the people we’re with all summer to grow in Christ and to love each other the way Christ loves us. His passion for people and kids can be seen through the Bible studies he has done as well as serving with the youth ministry at his church. He has also traveled to Armenia and Brazil for short-term missions trips. We look forward to how God will use him this summer!
