Have another question?
For What ages are your trips appropriate?
Our trips are excellent for middle-school, high-school or college groups. Whether you choose one of our single-day rafting trips, rock climbing, or one of our overnight adventures, we’ll customize your trip with appropriate challenge level for the age-group you bring.
For middle-school we recommend rafting Bighorn Sheep Canyon and our Adventure Combo. High-school or college groups may enjoy our more challenging trips such as rafting The Royal Gorge, Guided Backpacking Adventures, or our Ark River Camp.
What is Included?
Full-day trips include a delicious riverside lunch. Overnight trips include all meals, prepared fresh at our campsites, frequently receiving 5-star reviews from our guests. We are often able to accommodate food allergies and special dietary needs.
Journey Quest provides the equipment needed for all of our rafting, rock-climbing, and overnight trips. All tents, backpacks, and group gear are included with all of our overnight trips. A limited supply of sleeping bags and pads are available for students who are not able to bring their own.

What About Ministry Content?
Our trips are designed to bring the focus to Jesus Christ. Mornings begin with time set-aside to be alone with Jesus. Throughout the day, our guides love to use God’s creation and will share Spiritual Analogies. Evenings are spent together around a campfire as we worship and grow, learning from God’s word with a message prepared for you by one of our guides.
Some leaders prefer to have our staff provide the programming so they have a chance to interact with their group. Others choose to provide their own spiritual content and have our staff come alongside and support them. With either option we will fully support you as the leader.
Do Your Staff Undergo Background Checks?
Yes, each of Journey Quest’s guides goes through a staff application process which includes a criminal background check, at least three references, and a thorough interview.
