Browns Canyon National Monument

Whitewater Rafting on Colorado's Arkansas River

Browns Canyon is the most popular run on the Arkansas River, and for great reason! There’s plenty of exciting whitewater and excellent scenery. Slightly closer to Denver than our other runs, Browns makes a perfect day-trip for youth groups, churches, or family reunions. Browns Canyon offers exciting class III to III+ rapids, making it a perfect adventure for any group, beginner to advanced.

Recently designated Browns Canyon National Monument, this canyon is truly a treat to behold. Beautiful, clear water, giant granite boulders, and incredible Colorado mountain scenery combine to make this an unforgettable adventure!

This Browns Canyon Rafting Adventure is an amazing adventure in a spectacular place! We meet at our Texas Creek office or at the the take-out, gear up, then put-in for an action-packed day. We spend the first few miles learning to paddle strong before we start running exciting rapids such as Canyon Doors, Zoom Flume, Staircase and Toilet Bowl. After a stop for a delicious riverside lunch, we continue down through even more rapids such as Raft-Ripper, Seidel’s Suckhole and Twin Falls. » More Info «
