“Full Day Adventure – Royal Gorge Whitewater Rafting Trip”

“We went on the Full Day Adventure Royal Gorge Whitewater Rafting Trip. It was a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend it for those who love whitewater rafting. We went in August so the river was down some, but we still had great rapids and a very enjoyable trip. Our guide did an excellent job. If we lived closer we would go several times a year. The kids thought the whitewater rafting trip was the best activity we did while in Colorado.” Read Full Review
“Excellent for Youth Groups!”
Erica D

“The youth group I work with has gone rafting with Journey quest multiple times as a cap-off to a week of missions outreach. Not only is it a fun and exciting time of bonding, but it is so refreshing to hear your guide talk about the beauty of God's creation like a real, down-to-earth, and fun-loving person. All the guides I've met are very skilled at teaching, encouraging, and leading their rafting crew, which puts even those who are a bit squeamish about the endeavor at ease.” Read Full Review

“Several years ago, my church in Colorado Springs decided to make rafting a summer event. We chose Journey Quest (VFH at that time) and had a blast. We did the half day trip that ends just before the Royal Gorge, and it was perfect for our mixed group. With kids from 13 years old through adventurous grandparents, we wanted something everyone would enjoy; Journey Quest delivered a safe, entertaining, and exciting voyage each time.” Read Full Review

We then met our guide for the trip, Ryan is an amazing young man, and an inspiration to anyone who is lucky enough to meet him! ...There are tons of Rafting companies on the Arkansas River, but we will be back and recommending Journey Quest every time... ” Read Full Review

Living in a Fishbowl

Be Still

What does it mean to be still and know that He is God? What does being still in his presence mean? What does it mean to know God? When I think about getting to know someone, I imagine conversations, activities done together, and places seen together.

Who’s Guiding Your Boat?

Training is just around the corner and our new guides will start training with us May 10th. The thrill and anticipation for the summer is rising. We are excited to hit the water and teach our trainees what it looks like to guide a boat. Through training, they learn how to read the river, control their boat, give commands, and talk with their crew.
