As we near the beginning of our 2015 season, we’re excited to introduce you to the guides who are ready to serve your family or your group this summer!
“Howdy!” This will be Clay McCombe’s inaugural summer with JQ, and he couldn’t be more stoked to join the family here at JQ! Clay grew up in southern Colorado Springs and is a junior at Colorado Mesa University studying psychology and criminal justice. His main digs include: slanging Frisbees, banging drums, slappin his guitar, hittin the river, singing loudly (listen at your own risk), playing racquetball, and enjoys a good game of Monopoly. He’s not kidding about the Monopoly, he can go crazy with it! Fun fact, he is working towards growing a man-bun this summer, and would appreciate support on that journey. (We’re there for ya Clay).
This summer, Clay hopes to immerse himself in both rapids and a Christ-focused journey. Ultimately though, he is looking forward to waking up every morning in God’s beautiful creation and building relationships with his new JQ family, as well as new friends he’ll meet on the river and other trips he’ll be on! Cheers! Knowing that this summer may not be easy, Clay has still chosen to join us and we are stoked for how God will use him with us summer!
