Our Full-Day Royal Gorge trip is the perfect blend of breathtaking scenery and high-adventure whitewater rafting. This full day adventure is the best way to experience the excitement and thrill of both the Royal Gorge and Bighorn Sheep Canyon. Spectacular scenery, 15-foot rock jumps, and world-class whitewater rafting are just a few things you will enjoy on this Colorado Rafting adventure!

What to Expect

Our full-day trips depart at 9 am from both of our locations and cover 16-18 Miles of river, depending on river flow. You will have the opportunity to jump off rocks or take a swim in the Arkansas River at one of our riverside swimming locations. We will also have pictures available, for purchase, after the trip of you and your crew getting soaked in a couple of different rapids. If the river is too chilly, all of our full-day trips include a FREE wetsuit rental.

We got you covered! All of our full-day trips include a delicious riverside lunch to be enjoyed by you and your crew.

Full-Day Royal Gorge

The Journey Begins

Your morning starts with an excellent introduction to whitewater rafting in the lower Bighorn Sheep Canyon. Navigate iconic rapids such as Three Rocks, Spikebuck, and Shark’s Tooth as great warm-up for the thrill of the afternoon. Don’t forget to be on the lookout for the Bighorn Sheep that roam the landscape of this canyon in between the excitement. After a couple hours on the river, enjoy a delicious riverside lunch with your guide and crew.

After lunch, the adventure continues as the canyon narrows and the rock walls tower 1,000 feet above you. As you hit the continuous world-class whitewater rafting, don’t forget to look up and see the infamous Royal Gorge Bridge. You will encounter adrenaline-pumping Class IV-V rapids such as Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer, Wallslammer, and the Narrows while breathtaking scenery surrounds you on this incredible Colorado Rafting adventure.

About the Royal Gorge

The Royal Gorge is one of the deepest canyons in Colorado with some of the best whitewater rafting in State. With a maximum depth of 1,250 feet, the Royal Gorge is considered the Grand Canyon of the Arkansas River. Measuring 30 feet wide at its base and only 300 feet at the top, this canyon is a spectacular site to behold.
