Our Double Dip Royal Gorge is for the adventure-seeking adrenaline junky. This full-day adventure allows you to enjoy the thrill and excitement of rafting the Royal Gorge twice in one day! Experience the incredible Class IV-V Rapids of the Gorge in the morning, have a delicious riverside lunch, and then hit world-class whitewater rafting again in the afternoon. This trip is not for the faint of heart and will truly satisfy your thirst for excitement! Come enjoy the breathtaking scenery and adventurous rafting with us on this epic Colorado Rafting adventure!

What to Expect

Our Double Dip trips depart at 9 am from both of our locations and cover 18 Miles of river. You will have the opportunity to jump off a 15-foot rock and take a plunge into the Arkansas River. We will also have pictures available, for purchase, after the trip of you and your crew getting soaked in Sunshine Falls Rapid. If the river is too chilly, all of our whitewater rafting trips include a FREE wetsuit rental.

We got you covered! All of our full-day trips include a delicious riverside lunch to be enjoyed by you and your crew.

The Journey Begins

Your adventure-packed whitewater rafting trip begins as you gear-up, learn to paddle, and hit the Arkansas River. Starting at Parkdale, the launch site for the Royal Gorge, enjoy a few miles of calm water as the canyon walls narrow and rock walls begin to tower 1,000 feet above you. Don’t forget to take in the spectacular scenery of the canyon as you approach the thrilling rapids where the true rafting begins.

Discover Your Wild Side

After the short calm section, discover your wild side as you encounter the world-class continuous whitewater rafting of the Royal Gorge. Come face-to-face with incredible Class IV-V rapids such as Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer, Wallslammer, and the Narrows as you paddle hard and get soaked along the way. Before the morning is over, take a few plunges off of a 15-foot jump rock into the river.

Double Dip

After the morning run, head back to Parkdale where you will enjoy a delicious riverside lunch with your crew and guide. After a relaxing and filling lunch, hop back in your raft and enjoy the breathtaking and exciting nature of the Royal Gorge for a second time. Hit the same familiar rapids you smashed in the morning and satisfy that thirst for true Colorado adventure.
