Are you an adrenaline junkie? The Royal Gorge offers pure & exciting Class IV-V whitewater, and the Double-Dip takes two trips through it in one day! We put in right above the Royal Gorge first thing in the morning, enjoy a delicious riverside lunch, then take a second trip through the Gorge’s incredible rapids in the afternoon. You’ll love the great scenery, the sore muscles that prove you’ve paddled hard, and the opportunities to discover the ultimate adventure. This trip is recommended for those who have previous Class III or above paddling experience and want the most whitewater-adventure you can pack into a single day.

  • Includes delicious river-side lunch
  • The perfect Class IV-V adventure for true whitewater enthusiasts
  • Full-day trips include FREE wetsuit rental

Like all our trips, the purpose of this trip is much more than just whitewater rafting. Our guides seek opportunities to use even a single day on the river to share about the love and grace that is found in Jesus Christ. Whether you’re already a Christ-follower or if you’ve never come to know Him we would love to have the opportunity to share about what He’s done in our lives and encourage you to take the next step in faith – whether that be increasing in love for Him or beginning a lifelong relationship with Jesus. We seek to do this in a non-threatening, conversational way using stories, sharing spiritual analogies, and taking time to pray for you and your specific needs. To learn more about how and why we do this, see About Us and Why Journey Quest?

The Royal Gorge is a serious section of river and is not suitable for beginners. The minimum age is 15 at low or moderate flows, 18 at high flows. Previous class III or higher paddling experience and strong swimming ability are recommended for all guests. For the safety of our guides and guests, we cannot take guests who are over 250lbs, individuals with a history of heart problems, or those who are poor swimmers or unable to swim.
