Luke Frost is joining Journey Quest for his first summer this year. He’s originally from a small town called Marondera located in Zimbabwe where he spent the first 12 years of his life. He moved to Cañon City in 2018 to attend Worldview at the Abbey, a one-year theological program through Trinity University and now is excited to stay in Cañon over the summer. During his free time, Luke loves to build websites, go hiking, camping, fishing, snowboarding, driving (especially off-roading), explore nature, and spend time with friends and family. By far the easiest way to his heart would be a box of Oreos and a cup of South African Rooibos tea (with milk).
Luke is super excited to see how God will work in his life and the other people around him during this summer. Christ’s undying love and protection over Luke and his family has been mind-blowing, especially with the dangerous and politically unstable environment in Zimbabwe and through all the times he’s moved (eight times in the past six years). He’s most excited by the opportunity to grow in his faith over the summer and the prospect of spending most of every day out in Creation.
