A New Site for the New Year
Here at Journey Quest, we’re all about disconnecting from technology while experiencing God’s magnificent creation. However, sometimes the inter-webs are necessary, and nowadays a good website is super important, even for a Wilderness ministry. So we are excited to start off this new year with a new website!
Our old website hadn’t seen a major redesign since it was created in 2012, so it was certainly past-due for a change. Our goals were to create a site that modernizes the design, represents who we are, and spotlights the spectacular beauty of the places we get to visit with our guests. Josh Kerby and I (Steve Nutting) have been busy working on this new site for the past few months (yes, that’s what we do when it is snowing too much to go rafting). While there are still a lot of things we’d like to improve even more, it was time to take a little break and work on some other things. Here are just a few highlights:
Disconnect to Connect
We hope that as you browse our site you’ll be inspired to join us for one of our wilderness or rafting adventures this summer. When you get here, you won’t need your laptop, tablet, or phone, just some good gear and a sense of adventure. Disconnect from all the distractions of social media, email, and the stresses of work. Instead you’ll have space to connect with your family, your group, and your guides on a deeper level than you’d ever get with social media. And most of all, we hope that while you’re here you will connect with God in ways you never imagined possible!
Have a look around the new site. If you find a spelling error or anything else we should fix, just let us know in the comments below. Remember though, we are raft guides, not English majors, so please be kind.
