This Bighorn Sheep Canyon tour covers the same 14 miles as the 1/2 Day Extender, but moves at a more relaxed pace. In addition to the river-side lunch that is provided, we typically have more time to jump in & swim, play games, and explore God’s Creation in Bighorn Sheep Canyon. This is a perfect trip for small groups and families alike to grow closer together and increase their faith as they experience the Arkansas River.

Like all our trips, the purpose of this trip is much more than just whitewater rafting. Our guides seek opportunities to use even a short time together on the river to share about the love and grace that is found in Jesus Christ. Whether you’re already a Christ-follower or if you’ve never come to know Him we would love to have the opportunity to share about what He’s done in our lives and encourage you to take the next step in faith – whether that be increasing in love for Him or beginning a lifelong relationship with Jesus. We seek to do this in a non-threatening, conversational way using stories, sharing spiritual analogies, and taking time to pray for you and your specific needs. All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special use agreements with Colorado State Parks and the US Bureau of Land Management. The prices listed include all public lands use and river access fees – what you see is what you pay. Rafting, like other adventure activities, is inherently dangerous. By participating in our activities, you will be assuming those risks. All participants will be required to sign a release of liability before undertaking any activity with Vessels for Honor Rafting.
