We’ve infused Journey Quest’s Christian ministry focus into all our trips while continuing the tradition of excellent guides and wholesome fun. Whether you’ve rafted with Vessels for Honor Rafting before or if this will be your first experience, we expect you’ll love your trip with Journey Quest.
Most of our rafting and inflatable kayak adventures launch from our site at Texas Creek Junction near Canon City and travel through Bighorn Sheep Canyon or the Royal Gorge, offering some of the most spectacular scenery on the upper Arkansas River. Our guided tours range from 1/4 day to 6 days, and can be tailored to suit your individual taste for adventure. Trips run Monday through Saturday during the summer rafting season, from May 1st through Labor Day. We are ideally suited to accommodate groups of up to 80 people who are interested in growing in Jesus Christ, enjoying wholesome family fun, and experiencing thrilling whitewater adventures.

This is family rafting at it’s best! We begin the action with Texas Creek rapid and continue the tour for up to 14 miles. Some of the other rapids along the way include Maytag, Three Rocks, Five Points, Spikebuck, Shark’s Tooth and more. True adventure begins on this incredible whitewater rafting experience as the canyon narrows and the rock walls tower 1000 feet above. Not for the faint of heart, this trip will confront the infamous Class III to Class V rapids such as Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer, Wall Slammer, Boat Eater, and more. All of the large rapids are compressed into a short, continuous stretch that will thrill even the most rugged river-rat.
